Kung Hei Fat Choi! It's Chinese New Year!
I seem to have fallen off the wagon. I'm not alcoholic or anything like that. No, really. But I have fallen off the mlm wagon. I have done absolutely nothing to build my business for about, hmm, almost two months now. Yay me!
I do have one home party booked for this weekend with one of my businesses, but I didn't do a lot to acquire that one. A friend told me, "This person wants to host a party." I made just a couple of phone calls, and it has been postponed at least 3 times.
Part of me feels guilty for not doing anything--I haven't even loaded leads into my autoresponder for over a month. But every time I think about doing it, that old crown of procrastination falls over my eyes.
Christmas derailed me. I thought I'd be able to pick it back up in January, but my husband and I went to a weekend training course on real estate investing at the end of January, and we had homework to complete before attending.
And whether it is because of that, or because I "don't have a big enough why", (HA!) I just can't seem to get myself motivated to get back into that daily grind. (Maybe I need to go to more meetings...double HA!) To go back to my train metaphor, I don't have the energy right now to put my train back on the tracks.
And that is why they say momentum is so important. It takes so much effort to overcome inertia, that once most people drop the ball, it completely rolls away from them.
And me....
